| Abstract | ThestudyofskinblotchpathogenofgarlicbulbimportedfromThePeople'sRepublicofChinawascarriedoutatChiangsaenPlantQuarantineStation,ChiangRaiProvinceduringJanuary-August2016.Symptomofskinblotchwasdetectedin15of187samplesofimportedgarlicbulbs.Embellisia allii wasisolatedasakeypathogencausedskinblotchsymptominall15defectedsamplesusingmorphologicalandmolecularcharacteristics.ThemolecularcharacteristicwasinvestigatedbyaPCRandrunwithgelelectrophoresis.TheresultsshowedthatfungalDNAof15isolateswereconsistedof315basepairs.ObtainedbasesequencewascomparedtotheGenbankdatabase.ItwasfoundthatskinblotchfungifromgarlicbasesharedthesameE. alliifor100%identity.The E. allii isquarantinepestinThailand,thereforecontrolofE. alliimustbeconcerned.Applicationofozonatedwaterat1g/hfor30,45and60mincouldreducethesporesgerminationofE. alliiafter24hofincubationat0.75,0and0%respectively.Moreover,applicationofozonatedwaterat1g/hfor30minwascompletelyinhibitedskinblotchdiseaseingarlicblub. |
