| Abstract | Path-coefficient analysis of Thai native silkworm strains (Bombyx Mori L.) was conducted at the Queen Sirikit Sericulture Centre Sakon Naknon, SaKon Nakhon province in both seasonal trails, winter and rainy seasons during October 2011- September 2013. The experiment was designed as RCB with 3 replications and 9 treatments of each trial having 9 Thai native silkworm. The result showed that cocoon shell weight had the highest direct effect on single cocoon weight. Matured larvae weight and normal pupae percentage had a little direct effect on single cocoon weight. So, silkworm breeding to enhance single cocoon weight could cocoon shell weight as criteria for selection the better silkworm races. |
