Abstract Relation of rotenone and starch content in Derris roots of the different ages at harvest, was set at the Koongkaben Research and Development Centre as a part of the Royal Project in Tamai district, Chanthaburi province during June 2001-2004. The Experiment was designed as RCB with 3 replications and 15 treatments. The results were shown that the rotenone percentages was increased as the ages at harvest increased from 19 to 26 months ; after that it was slowly decreased to 30 months, and it was increased again at 31 to 33 months. The highest starch content was found at the 19 months, then it was slowly decreased to 26 month, and increased again at the age of 32 months. The correlation of rotenone and starch content was โ" 0.702 percent.
