Abstract Purpose: This explores the influence of self-regulation on the enterprising tendency of the B.S. Entrepreneurship students of Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC). Research design, data and methodology: The paper utilized a quantitative, non-experimental research design employing the descriptive-correlational technique. The study respondents were 266 randomly selected students enrolled in the entrepreneurship program from the 1st to 4th-year level. An adapted, 5-point Likert-type questionnaire served as the survey instrument. Data were analyzed using Mean, Pearson-r, and Regression Analysis. Results: Results revealed that both self-regulation and enterprising tendency were at a high level (overall means = 4.00 and 3.78, respectively). Pearson correlation results showed a significant and positive relationship between self-regulation and enterprising tendency (p < 0.05), with all indicators showing strong correlations. Furthermore, multiple regression analysis showed that self-regulation significantly influences enterprising tendency, with an R? of 0.388 and adjusted R? of 0.378. Among the domains, controlling, monitoring, and reflecting were found to significantly affect enterprising tendency, while planning was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Overall, the study concludes that self-regulation is a strong predictor of enterprising tendency, reinforcing its relevance in entrepreneurial education. Therefore, improving students' self-regulatory abilities can serve as a valuable approach to developing their entrepreneurial capabilities.
