| Abstract | The rise of information and communication technologies and social media platformshas provided unprecedented opportunities for women to thrive as entrepreneurs and partici-pate in the public sphere. However, this has also led to increasing online abuse and harass-ment against women. A study was conducted to examine the psychological health status ofthe female population affected by online flaming behavior. A quantitative analysis was con-ductedon202femalerespondentsinChennai, focusingontheirperceptionsandexperiencesas victims or non-victims of this online flaming. The study found that technology adoption,such as machine learning, can help identify perpetrators, identify solutions, and formulateprevention measures to safeguard and enhance women's status in society. The study sug-gests that digital social media platforms contribute to recovery from abuses through earlydetection and can mitigate campaigns to end online violence against women. The study aidspolicymakers in creating appropriate policies and regulations to address cyber abuse againstwomen. |
