| Abstract | The main objective of this research was to investigate the factors of employee performance in specialized financial institutions in accordance with the expectations of executives. The population was the executives of 6 specialized financial institutions; namely Government Savings Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives; Government Housing Bank; Islamic Bank of Thailand Export-Import; and Bank of Thailand; and the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand. There were 684 executives in total divided into 3 levels which are senior level; middle level and operational level executives. The sample group consisted of 32 senior executives 92 middle level executives and 332 operational level managers, totaling 456 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a rating scale based on Likert's type. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics consisting of frequencies, percentages; means and standard deviations. The structural equation model (SEM) was estimated using advanced statistics and AMOS software package. The results revealed that desirable employee performance in specialized financial institutions in accordance with the expectations of the executives from the highest weight score were as follows 1) functional competency consisting of technical and leadership aspects 2) managerial competency consisting of business management; expertise in career; and flexibility in career 3) core competency consisting of product expertise; teamwork and communication. |
