Abstract This research aimed to 1) study the level of digital skills among personnel at Phatthalung Municipality, 2) examine the level of digital organization readiness of Phatthalung Municipality, and 3) analyze the relationship between personnel's digital skills and the municipality's digital organization readiness. A quantitative research methodology was employed, collecting data from a simple random sample of 259 personnel at Phatthalung Municipality using questionnaires. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and inferential statistics, specifically Pearson's correlation coefficient. The findings revealed: 1) The overall digital skills of personnel were at a moderate level (x ̅ = 2.94, S.D. = 0.45) The component with the highest average level was capability, followed by experience, attributes, and knowledge, respectively. 2) Phatthalung Municipality's overall digital organization readiness was at a moderate level (x ̅ = 2.79, S.D. = 0.29. The component with the highest average level was being a modern and citizen-centric organization, followed by being an open and connected organization, and organizational digital culture, respectively. 3) Hypothesis testing indicated a statistically significant positive correlation (p<0.01) between personnel's digital skills and Phatthalung Municipality's digital organization readiness across all components. This suggests that developing digital skills in terms of capability, knowledge, experience, and attributes plays a crucial role in enhancing the potential of local government organizations to adapt to the context of digital government.
