บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาองค์ประกอบความฉลาดทางสังคม และระดับความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษา ภาคใต้ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักศึกษาที่กำลังศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1-4 ในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐ ภาคใต้ จำนวน 900 คนโดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน (Multistage Random Sampling)เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบวัดความฉลาดทางสังคม เป็นแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า (Rating Scale) จำนวน 35 ข้อ ค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ .85 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน (Confirmatory Factor Analysis : CFA)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันของความฉลาดทางสังคม ประกอบด้วย 3 องค์ประกอบ คือ องค์ประกอบด้านการตระหนักรู้ทางสังคม ได้แก่ การรับรู้ผู้อื่น การเข้าใจผู้อื่น การเห็นอกเห็นใจผู้อื่น องค์ประกอบด้านการรู้คิดทางสังคม ได้แก่ การรู้คิดในพฤติกรรม การมีข้อมูลทางสังคม การตัดสินสภาพการณ์ทางสังคม และองค์ประกอบด้านการมีทักษะทางสังคมได้แก่ การแสดงออกทางอารมณ์ การแสดงออกทางสังคม การสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม องค์ประกอบทั้งหมด มีค่าความเหมาะสมพอดีกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ มีน้ำหนักองค์ประกอบมาตรฐานอยู่ในเกณฑ์สูง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 สามารถวัดองค์ประกอบของความฉลาดทางสังคมได้

2. ความฉลาดทางสังคมของนักศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษา ภาคใต้ อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to study factors and levels of higher education students' social intelligence in the south of Thailand. The samples were 900 higher education students who were studying in the first to the fourth year of the public universities in the south of Thailand, randomized by multistage random sampling. The research instruments was 35 items of social intelligence test with .85 reliability coefficient (alpha). Confirmatory factor analysis with mean, SD. statistics method were used to analyze the data.

The results of the study were as follows :

1. The confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that the social intelligence included three factors : the first was social awareness factor consisted of perception of others, understanding of others and empathy, the second was social cognition factor consisted of cognition of behavioral, social information and judgment in social situations, and the third was social skills factor consisting of emotional expressivity, social expressivity andsocial making connection. These three factors were high loading at the .01 to.05 level and could be able to measure the social intelligence functioning factors.

2. The social intelligence total mean scores revealed average.
