Abstract system base on model reference adaptive system (MRAS). The estimated speed is derived from the difference of the rotor flux state resulting from voltage and current models which is passed through the PI controller. The design guideline for the estimate speed gain, speed controller and the current controller are also given to assure the system stability. These overall gains design to experimental test with a 3-phase induction motor by digital signal processor controller. The experimental results express actual and estimate speed in the vicinity and the overall system has stability for the entire operating region.
