| Abstract | The aim of this study was to compare the effects of mental imagery combined with video modeling upon anxiety and Netball shooting tests. Thirty Netball players were selected by systematic sampling and divided into an experimental group (15 players) and a control group (15 players). The experimental group was assigned to use mental imagery combined with video modeling practicing, but the control group was not assigned to use mental imagery combined with video modeling practicing for eight weeks. For this research, the Revised Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 Test (CSAI-2R) was used to measure anxiety and self-confidence among of Netball players. All data were analyzed using One-Way and Two-Way ANOVA and presented with mean, standard deviation. The result showed comparing difference between pre-test and post-test of netball shooting in four weeks. There was no statistical significance to difference between the experimental group and control group in four weeks, but there was statistical significance to difference between two groups in eight weeks. In addition, comparing the state had no statistical significance difference in the experimental group and control group about physical anxiety, mental anxiety, and self-confidence. This research showed an improvement of Netball shooting and changing in the result of behavior learning. Hence the mental imagery has to practice regularly to improve knowing performance and imaginary moving that effect to skills efficiency |
