| Abstract | The purposes of the research were to 1) study political participation opinions of people in Loei Province, 2) compare political participation opinions of people in Loei Province to be sort out of sex, age, education and occupation, 3) study of trend of promotion political participation of people in Loei Province and 4) study the election process. This is a quantitative and qualitative research. The instruments used to collect data were questionnaires and interviews. The technique of probability sampling, Taro Yamane and stratified random sampling was used to collect data. A simple random Sampling was used to collect data with questionnaires for 400 people. Research quantitative instrument was a questionnaire with reliability coefficient of .96. Collected data were analyzed and statistics used were percentages, mean scores, standard deviations and hypothesis test by ANOVA (F-test) and Scheffe method. The qualitative of research descriptive election process on Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, BE 2550 comprised political learning, political knowledge management, election process of people and role of election commission. The findings: 1) The political participation opinion of people in Loei Province were moderate and ranked as follows; political decision, political evaluation, political opinion and political information. 2) No significant difference on sex, age, education and occupation. 3) The people have recommendation: providing and publications, setting budget for election commission, communication charnel, information center and planning political activities. 4) The election process comprised political learning, political knowledge management, representativeness of political outcomes and the perceived legitimacy of governments and policies. Research suggestion were people should be independent and government supports the budget, local government sets hotline towers, people have participation opinion in activities planning, government will set budget to promote election, make motivation on election commission and community political center. |
