| Abstract | นับตั้งแต่การรัฐประหารในปี พ.ศ.2549 และ พ.ศ.2557 ศิลปะได้กลายมาเป็นพื้นที่ปะทะของคู่ขั้วการเมืองอย่างเข้มข้น ผ่านการผสานตัวเองเข้าไปกับโครงสร้างธุรกิจการผลิตงานศิลปะที่มีอยู่เดิม งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้ศึกษาการเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองและศิลปะของศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ โดยมีคำถามว่า ศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ซึ่งมีบทบาทในการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์สถานการณ์ทางการเมืองและมีบทบาทในการขับเคลื่อนขบวนการต่อสู้ทางการเมืองในช่วงที่ผ่านมาต้องเผชิญกับเงื่อนไขข้อจำกัดในเชิงโครงสร้างทั้งทางการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ และภายในวงการศิลปะเองอย่างไร รวมถึงพวกเขาเลือกใช้กลยุทธ์ใดในการขับเคลื่อนประเด็นทางการเมืองและการเลี้ยงชีพของพวกเขาภายใต้เงื่อนไขข้อจำกัดเหล่านั้น ข้อเสนอของงานชิ้นนี้ก็คือ ศิลปินกลุ่มนี้หันมาวิพากษ์โครงสร้างเชิงสถาบันทั้งในแง่ของสถาบันทางการเมืองและสถาบันศิลปะทางการ โดยมุ่งนำเสนอ "คุณค่า" ใหม่ ๆ อย่างน้อย 3 ประการ คือ การเล่น การปรับเปลี่ยน และการสร้างส่วนรวม ในฐานะที่เป็นเครื่องมือในการท้าทายและวิพากษ์ต่อโครงสร้างของระบบทุนนิยมและระบอบเผด็จการทหารในปัจจุบัน ในการเคลื่อนไหวดังกล่าว พวกเขาได้ผลักให้นิยามของศิลปะและศิลปินที่เดิมถูกผูกขาดการนิยามอยู่ที่สถาบันทางการเปลี่ยนแปลงความหมายไป ผ่านการแทนที่ "ศิลปิน" ด้วยตัวตนแบบ "นักสร้างสรรค์" ซึ่งเปิดรับให้ผู้คนต่าง ๆ เข้ามามีส่วนรวมในการเคลื่อนไหวและร่วมสร้างสถาบันเชิงวิพากษ์ใหม่ ๆ ได้Since the 2006 and 2014 coups, art has become an area of intense political opposition through merging itself into the existing art business structure. This research studies the political and artistic movements of young artists. With a question that how does the new generation of artists, who have played a critical role in the political situation and in driving political movements in recent times, have to face structural constraints, both politically, economically and within the arts industry? In addition, what strategy do they choose to drive their political and subsistence issues under those constraints? The proposal of this paper is that this group of artists has been critical of the institutional structure in terms of political institutions and official art institutions. They propose at least 3 new "values" which are playing, improvising and commoning in order to challenge and criticize the current structure of capitalism and military dictatorship. In the movement, their movements help redefining arts and artists that were originally monopolized by the official institution. Their objective is to replace the subject of "artist" with the "creator", which is open to the co-involvement and participation of ordinary people in the movement and in the co-creation of the new institution of critique. |
