| Abstract | In this research, we propose the use of LibreOffice, which is a free spread sheet software, for simulating the two-body pursuit problem and use the GOAL SEEK function to estimate the time that one body takes to reach the other one. We found that LibreOffice can be used to simulate the motion of the system and estimate the approached time without using sophisticated programming skill. The software is suitable for self-learning of undergraduate students. Moreover, instructors can use the software to create different exercises by adjusting free parameters. |
