| Abstract | This research was aimed to study the ethics that appear in the Korean series "Dong Yi" (The Queen's Bench). This was qualitative research. All educational content boundaries are 64 episodes, but only for episodes 1-10, to obtain basic information that will lead to analyze the research results were as follows: The basic principles of Confucius ethics appearing as; 1) Principles of mercy as humanity, caring for others, helping on the issue can help, non-discrimination. 2) Righteous principles as responsible for their duties, judging the wrong from the right issue and only proving the truth. 3) Principles of suitability as considering what the issue should be or not be done which depends on the person's character, but whether or not the issue was correct or not. 4) principles of knowledge, to not be ashamed to learn with others, even those who are inferior or have a good personality, modify themselves, cultivate knowledge. 5) Principles of credibility; The ability to make others trust depends on the person to behave respectfully. The 5 relationship principles were found that: 1) The governor-under governor, the governor must consider what the right was, not use personal matters to judge the offense. 2) the parents-son/daughters, showing different opinions to their parents must use polite words, give polite guidance, when they see that their parents do not comply, do not obstruct, but keep trying. 3) the husbands and wives, believe that "men were the representative of heaven", so husbands must take care of their wives, who are responsible for their families by behaving in a manner that is virtuous and that their wives must obey. 4) brothers and sisters, the older have to act properly and take care of younger, even if give up life, the younger must obey the older and respect order's decision. And 5) Friends, helping each other with friendly people, creating respect for one another must be a respectable person, have honest words, do not take advantage of one another. Therefore, according to the study of Confucian ethics, it is believed that in the potential of human beings to create a peaceful society on their own. |
