| Abstract | The research "People's Opinions towards the Selection of the President of the Yasothon Provincial Administrative Organization: A Case Study of Phuhee Sub-district, Chanachai District, Yasothon Province" has the objectives; 1) To study the opinions of the people towards the selection of the president of the Yasothon Provincial Administrative Organization. And 2) to study recommendations on people's opinions towards the election of the President of the Yasothon Provincial Administrative Organization. The sample group used in this research consisted of 359 people living in Phuhee Subdistrict, Chanachai District, Yasothon Province, the sample size was determined by calculating from the Taro Yamane formula, the sample size was 359 people. The tool used to collect the data is the estimation scale questionnaire. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that overall, 186 people chose the provincial administrative organization's president who was a good person with high morals and honesty, 51.8%. Choose the president of the provincial administrative organization who is the second most competent person, 204 people 56.8%. When considering each aspect, it can be divided into the following aspects; (1) the performance of the citizens, it was found that the people went to the polls. After all, they considered elections as the duty of all Thai people the most, 324 90.3% showed that they had a heart of democracy, followed by elections because the law forced citizens to vote at least 178 people 49.6%. (2) The personal qualities of the applicants found that they tend to choose the president of the Provincial Administrative Organization who is very good, moral, and honest 186 people 51.8%, followed by a provincial administrative organization president who is 204 people with knowledge and abilities 56.8%. (3) The popularity of the political party or political group found that the affiliation with the political party or political group of the applicants overall was at a moderate level, an average of 2.55. The item with the highest average is Item 4 electing the president of the Provincial Administrative Organization in the past because it is a famous political party or political group, followed by item 5, choosing the president of the Provincial Administrative Organization in the past. (4)Proposing the candidate's policy, the results showed that choosing a candidate for the president of the Provincial Administrative Organization with a good policy benefited 157 people in the middle 43.7%, Selected candidates for the president of the provincial administrative organization that the policy can be moderately 154 people 42.9% |
