| Abstract | This research aimed to 1) study the attitude and behavior of museum visits amongst Thai digital natives and 2) study the details to be used with the conceptual model for museum website to enhance a lifelong learning for Thai digital natives. This study used mixed methodology between quantitative and qualitative research. The research population are Thai digital natives between the ages of 14-25 voluntary random sampling and analyzed the best practice international museum websites by setting criteria and selection method. The research instruments consisted of 1) an online series of structured questions to observe the use of technology to self-access learning and museums visitor’s behavior, examined the result using mean and standard deviation and Likert 5 rating scale, 2) the data analysis of the best practice museum websites, analyzed the result using percentage mean. The result founded that the conceptual model in website design for museums can be defined into 4 main elements; story, design, usability, and technology. This model covered the principles to convey the clear-cut image and relate to lifelong learning experience amongst Thai digital natives. Besides, the conceptual idea could be applied to a various type of museums in Thailand depending on availability and suitability. |
