| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine the film culture construction and management activities of Zheng Yongzhi, the leader of the China Film Corporation, the largest state-run film organization in China during the War of Resistance. By restoring historical facts, this study aims to provide valuable insights into contemporary film culture construction and management in China. Focusing on the China Motion Picture Corporation under Zheng Yongzhi's management from 1936 to 1943, this research employs a historical analysis method, utilizing first-hand historical materials, supplemented by relevant research findings and interviews with Zheng Yongzhi's descendants. The research results will address a significant gap in the history of Chinese cinema, offering perspectives on the cultural construction and management activities of cinema in China today. |
