| Abstract | This research aims to study 1. Social development according to Buddhist philosophy of Theravada 2. The role of social development of Wat Pa Tham Phrathepnimit, Kutchab District, Udonthani province 3. To analyze the social development according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy of Wat Pa Tham Phrathepnimit, Kutchab District, Udon thani province. The results showed that: 1. Social development according to Buddhist philosophy of Theravada is the process of creating physical and intellectual growth, which is the development of a person to be mature. Responsible have morals to live in harmony with others in society 2. The role of social development of Wat Pa Tham Phrathepnimit, Kutchab District, Udonthani Province found that it is a measure that develops people physically. mind, focusing on meditation practice and the role in the development of the society in all 6 areas according to the rules of the Supreme Sangha Council 3. Analysis of social development according to Theravada Buddhist philosophy of Wat Pa Tham Phrathepnimit, Kutchab District, Udonthani province It was found that Wat Pa Tham Phrathepnimit has roles and duties in accordance with the principles of the discipline and is consistent with the problems of urban society The abbot has completely managed the sangha affairs in accordance with all 6 aspects of the Act. |
