| Abstract | The objective of this research is to find factors that are related to the perspective of disability; charity model, medical model, and social model, of students studying in the Department of Public Administration and are about to graduate to become government officials in the future. It has the assumption that the students should have the most of charity and medical model. There are 154 samples in this research by the simple random sampling method and all of them were students studying in the 3rd year of Public Administration Department, College of Politics and Governance, Mahasarakham University. The research tool was questionnaire surveyed through the Google Form application and analyzed by using Chi-square Test of Goodness of Fit and percentage. The study found that students have significantly different perspectives on disability. That is, they have the most perspective on medical and social models while the charity model found the least. The result of this study also conflicts with the hypothesis of this research. As for policy recommendations, firstly, government agencies should have a policy to encourage students to view disabled people as their fellow human beings with the same rights and freedoms. And secondly government agencies should create an image of good service to disabled people. |
