| Abstract | The objectives of this research was to: 1) explore the problem and obstruction from the use of the Electronic Document System (EDS) by the personnel in the College of Politics and Governance, Mahasarakham University; and 2) study and construct the guideline to create the instruction manual for the Electronic Document System Use for the personnel in the College of Politics and Governance, Mahasarakham University. The sample group was 50 participants including instructors and personnel working in the College of Politics and Governance, Mahasarakham University. The research tool was the questionnaire with 5-point rating scale and the statistical methods for data analysis were Frequency Distribution, Means, Standard Deviation (S.D.), T-Test, and F-Test (one-way ANOVA). The research outcome revealed that the Electronic Document System Use was rated with a mediate mean score (x̄=3.47) in terms of Document Categorization, System Calendar Management, and Personal Knowledge and Understanding to use the EDS Application; meanwhile, Their attitude on the use of the Electronic Document System was given with a high mean score ( x̄=3.75). As the EDS user, the participants firstly agreed that the Electronic Document System helps saving space for document storage for the inspection and suggested that all information should be delivered to not only the clerical officers but also the instructors and personnel. Besides, the EDS application should be available on the android devices in addition to the IOS devices and the application menu should be improved with updated and varied functions especially for the clerical officer to perform a wide range of new document works. More importantly, the COPAG instructors and personnel should be trained constantly to comprehend the use of the Electronic Document System as well as be provided with the instruction manual for better performance. |
