| Abstract | The purposes of this research study, the roles of the Guy Fawkes mask in the Thai political movements, are to study and analyze the roles. This research study is a qualitative study with the documentary analysis and in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed according to the concepts of symbolic politics and political movements. It was found that the background and characteristics of the mask made it different from the political symbols in the past since it could be used with various strategies; for example, by wearing the masks during the meetings, using the mask as the Identity of the group and utilizing it as an international communication tool indicating the Thai political conflict. |
