| Abstract | This survey research that purposed to study using and delveloping self-care model offamilies have postpartum mothers via establishing cooperate health network in reproductive wemengroup by choosed community around Mahasarakam University. The sample was 22 postpartummothers in Tamboon Takonyang and Tambon kamreang.The duration of the reserach was from May,2005 - May, 2006.A reseach method was divided into 4 phases. The data were collected throughparticipatory observation, self-care behaviors, health status of the postpartum mothers by thequalitative data were analyzed using content analysis while the quantitative data were analyzed usingmean.The results of the frist phase untill the last phase on self-care behaviors devide on fairbehaviors(mean score 2.68)the score in last phase for self-care behaviors devide on good behaviors(mean score 3.12) is different and non significant. According to their poor health behaviors that thesubjects had a lack of health knowleged.The subjects have problems which such as, about thatchoosed the method for family planning, eatting for food appropriate to promote health, maternalexsuation after delivery, breast feeding for their newborns. Selfcare development model for familywith the postpartum mothers on the community around Mahasarakam University that inclundingbasicconditioning data from, health educationing from, Assessment for Followed up from andassessment self-care behaviors from.The concluded that idea of intergation of health with the delveloped of self-care agencymodel was a process, which could be used to promote self-care and knowleged for practice toprovide and family with postpartum mothers in this area . The health professionals lead to awarnessof their health and developed the model for anothers group |
