| Abstract | The main objective of this participatory research is to study results of the implementation of students mind map training workshop project. The study was conducted at King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) by means of qualitative methodology. The research instruments used to collect the data were observations, in-depth interviews, group discussions, project evaluation questionnaires and open-ended students learning self-reports. The samples and key informants were fifty-three KMUTT students participating in the project. The data analysis involved fundamental statistical analysis, content analysis and inductive analysis. The findings revealed that the students had satisfaction and benefits at the highest level ( = 4.40). Additionally, the students self-inquiry learning-reflection and inner contemplation fit in with KMUTT Student Qualification Framework (KMUTT-STUDENT QF) on the potential and competent aspects i.e. logical thinking (92.45 percent), transformation and presentation of their ideas (100 percent), and communicative competence (84.91 percent). Moreover, other learnings (leadership, unity, creative thinking , etc.) also occurred. The main suggestion from this research was that there should be a following up of students utilizationof mind map to the examine the practicality of their learning results. |
