Abstract Purpose: This study aims to design a systematic data structure, classification, and metadata for IT repair service information. The goal is to support the organization, retrieval, and presentation of repair shop information in areas surrounding Khon Kaen University and nearby communities. The study focuses on improving the accessibility, clarity, and usability of service information for users.Methodology: This study employs a survey research method using online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to collect data from users in the study area. It also applies literature review and international standards, including ISIC Rev.4 for classification, Dublin Core and Schema.org for metadata design. Figma was used for interface design, and a prototype website was subsequently developed.Findings: The findings indicate that users require complete and accessible information, including service types, pricing, reviews, and location. The designed data structure includes shop, service, device, and metadata components aligned with user needs. The classification system improves search and comparison functions, while the overall structure supports efficient information retrieval and usability.Applications of this study: This study can be applied to the development of information systems and service platforms, especially for local service businesses such as IT repair shops and small enterprises. It also provides guidelines for data structure, classification, and metadata design in information science, web development, and digital service platforms in urban and community contexts.
