| Abstract | Purpose: The objectives of this study were to systematically review the research studies on the Thai elderly information behavior published during 2015 to 2019 to identify the elderly information behavior and attributes, and to examine the researchers' academic disciplines.Methodology: This systematic literature review was divided into 3 steps: planning, implementing, and presenting its results.Findings: The findings indicated that most of the studies on the Thai elderly information behavior published during 2015 to 2019 were conducted by information science and communication arts or mass communication researchers who carried out their survey using questionnaires and interviews to collect data from the elderly over 60 years of age with an emphasis on the information behavior in using new information technology, especially social media.Applications of this study: Results of this study provide contribution to future investigations on information behavior of the increasing elderly population. Moreover, concerned agencies can use these findings for formulating information services that suit the elderly information behavior. |
