| Abstract | The objectives of this research are 1) to study the food consumption behavior of diabetic patients who cannot control their blood sugar levels who come to the diabetes clinic 2) to study the factors that influence the food consumption behavior of diabetic patients and 3) To study guidelines for developing food consumption behavior of diabetic patients who cannot control their blood sugar levels who come to receive services at the diabetes clinic at Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital in the area of Udon Thani Province It is quantitative research and qualitative research. The sample groups used in this research are: Voters in the Udon Thani Province area totaled 400 people. Interview group totaled 10 people. The tools used in the research include: Questionnaires and interviews Statistics used in data analysis are frequency, percentage, multiple regression analysis and description and classification of data Prepare data editors and analyze data Write a report according to the objective Accompanying the discussion of results.The results of the research found that: 1) Food consumption behavior level of diabetic patients who cannot control their blood sugar levels who come to the diabetes clinic. The overall level is at a moderate level which can be ordered from highest to lowest as follows. The aspect of taking medicine was at a moderate level the aspect of controlling food was at a moderate level and the aspect of exercising was at a moderate level according to number 2) Factors influencing food consumption behavior of diabetic patients Including all aspects as follows: Perceived obstacles to practicing health behaviorsX4 Perceived benefits of practicing health behaviorsX3 and the risk of complications of diabetesX1 The three independent variables had predictor coefficients on raw scores (b) of 0.421, 0.275, and 0.040, respectively 3) There should be regular intake of food from all five food groups every day. You should eat all three meals each day. Avoid sugary drinks, soft drinks, and avoid eating foods that are high in fat. Exercise regularly set up an area where you can exercise with fresh air. Avoid exercising in extremely hot or extremely cold weather and taking medicines as prescribed strictly and continuously on a regular basis. |
