| Abstract | This research article objectives were 1) to study the development of democratic citizenship of Mahamakut Buddhist University and 2) to create a model for democratic citizenship development of Mahamakut Buddhist University. In-depth interview of 18 person and focus group discussion of 12 person were obtained by purposive sampling, analyze contextual information.The results of the research revealed that 1) the role of Mahamakut Buddhist University and the development of citizenship in democratic regimes were (1) the development of citizenship in the democratic regime of Mahamakut Buddhist University and (2) the university's role (3) The role of Mahamakut Buddhist University and the development of citizenship in a democratic system.
