| Abstract | Product development of local identity satchel bags, Mahachai Subdistrict, Somdet District, Kalasin Province. Data collection by means of in-depth interviews, focus group and participatory processes. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The target group of 20 people, specific method .The research found that weaving group member can bring fabric with pattern of Dok Kaew Benjarat and local fabrics to develop bag products to add value by developing a design of woven fabric for making bags. In addition, the thread is mixed with metallic silver to make it shiny and more beautiful. and developed the pattern of the Kaew Benjarat flower by using small glass flowers and waving the pattern to add more color and beauty to the work. There is also the development of prototype products consisting of standard satchel and hanging satchel bag. However, in this research, the members of the group were able to design patterns and learn. Participatory process of cutting, sewing and processing bags. The development of products can add value to the members of the group and promote the identity of weaving for processing to generate income and create value for the community. |
