| Abstract | Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of complicated health problems particularly in the elderly population. A systematic review was used to extract relevant and advanced information to the AD from several sources of information. This paper is presented the mechanism of the association between neurovascular dysfunction and Alzheimer's disease, and also the importance and latest procedures of AD detection. The combination uses of peripheral blood markers of brain microcirculation lesions and multiple structural, functional, and electrophysiological measures discussed here would constitute an informative panel to aid timely diagnosis. |
