| Abstract | The study attempts to investigate factors affecting intended retirement age decision among the public sector employees in Sri Lanka. A path analysis is employed over a sample of 400 employees and results indicate that perceived health and attitudes of the employee towards the retirement are the main factors influence on retirement age decision. However, job satisfaction, family relationships and anticipated financial position have little effect on intended retirement age. |
