| Abstract | The Ministry of Education has the policy to drive the philosophy of the sufficiency economy into educational institutions so that teachers, school administrators, personnel, and students have an understanding of the philosophy of the sufficiency economy, and can integrate the philosophy of sufficiency economy into teaching and learning management. As well as the application in daily life and has begun to expand the results of model educational institutions in organizing learning activities and managing according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy, “The Sufficiency Education Institute” since 2011. Thus, this research aimed to study needs assessment needs priority, and approaches for the teacher leadership development in instructional management based on the Principles of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Bankhokkongmittraphap 86 school Bueng Kan Primary Educational Service Area Office. The participants were 17 Administer and teachers, selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were a questionnaire with a 5-level rating scale to collect the quantitative data. Data analysis employed the techniques of frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation, modified priority needs an index, and content analysis. The research revealed as follows: The mean scores of teacher leadership development in instructional management based on the Principles of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy were as follows: 1) the total mean of teacher leadership development in instructional management, in reality, was at a high level, and 2) as expected was at the highest level. However, the most important approaches to developing teacher leadership in instructional management based on the Principles of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in each aspect were as follows: instructional management, development of curriculum, self-and-peer-teacher development, being self-sufficient role mode, and being a transformational leader. |
