| Abstract | This researchaimedtostudy strategies forpresenting Chineseidentity in Praphatsorn Sawikul's novels and short stories using the concept of literary elements, theme of the story. To analyze strategies for presenting through the theme The texts were studied in a total of 6 subjects: Samphaothong, Manmorasum, Chinamoon, Mammorlasum, Banchaidong and Pandinyai. The results of the study showed that strategies for presenting Chineseness through the theme of In Prapassorn Sevikul'snovelsandshort stories, thereare4 Chineseaspects whichare1) themesabout life 2) themes about family problems 3) themes about economy 4) themes about politicsRule The method of presenting Chinese identity through the aforementioned theme hasinterestingly demonstrated the system of thoughts, beliefs, worldviews, values and socialideologies of the Chinese and Thai people of Chinese ancestry that has continued to date. |
