| Abstract | Theobjectivesof thisresearch wereto1)studythecausesofconflictsamongemployees in organizations in Trang Province 2) study the methods of conflict management among employees in Trang Province, and 3) compare the methods of conflict management classified by gender, age, education level and work experience. The samples consisted of 400 employees with accidental sampling in Trang Province. The instrument used for data collection wasaquestionnaire withits reliabilityof.992.Thestatisticsusedfor theanalysis werefrequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. Theresultsof theresearchrevealedthat1)employees'opinions towardsorganizational conflicts were rated on a scale of medium ( =3.38, S.D.=1.08) and the causes of organizational conflicts arose from individual factors ( =3.47, S.D.=1.10), organizational conditions ( =3.40, S.D.=1.09) and interaction issues ( =3.28, S.D.=1.04) respectively. 2) Conflict management methods among employees in Trang Province were compromise ( =3.65, S.D.=0.96), confrontation( =3.52, S.D.=0.99),smoothing( =3.49, S.D.=0.97), withdrawal ( =3.30, S.D.=1.04) and forcing ( =2.90, S.D.=1.13) respectively. 3) the comparison of the methods of conflict management of employees in organizations in Trang Province classified by gender, age, education level and work experience were not different |
