| Abstract | After Thailand's elections in mid-year 2023, one of the government's biggest challenges is to stimulate Thailand's economy to recover. Under the circumstances, the recovery from the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the slowdown of the world economy, along with the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, lead to challenges for this government. Distributing a digital wallet of 10,000 baht is one of the government's main policies. It is noted that the said policy received both support, suggestions, and severe criticism. Such policies can stimulate the economy. Is it fair and thorough and as expected by the government? As a result, the government must adjust the conditions and details of the policy according to the situation. This academic article The objectives are 1) to study the concept, history, and style of public administration; and new public administration in Thailand 2) to study the concept of public service New public services and the public finances of the government sector of Thailand and 3) to present policy opinions on the public finances of the government sector in the future, including presenting the advantages and disadvantages of public finance management of the government sector related to the policy of distributing digital money of 10,000 baht. The government therefore needs to adapt and develop into a digital government. To be more compatible with the new context and new challenges, one of the urgent policies of the government that is a public service is the distribution of digital money of 10,000 baht. How effective will it be? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Will it be successful or not? It depends on many factors in the future. |
