| Abstract | Yadong is a folk wisdom passed down from Thai’s ancestors. Thai herbs are soaked in liquor for extracting the crucial herbal chemical substances, which have properties to help promoting strength, nourishing blood, relieving body aches, and boosting sex performance. Therefore, Yadong, the Thai herbal liquor has been using as a medicine of traditional doctors and could be offered to monks as a medicinal pill. At present, herbal liquor becomes increasingly attractive to common producers who expecting to sell or run business, because the production process is simplified and the cost is not very high. Hence, producing the herbal liquor turns out to be popular, resulting in a cheap price and generally available. It is commonly well known among laborers. In fact, production and distribution of the herbal liquor is still illegal which causing secretly trading. It is, therefore, unfortunately Yadong-Thai herbal liquor has become illegal instead of being promoted as a folk medicine. |
