| Abstract | The objectives of this research were to 1) develop the mathematics learning achievement of grade 11 students through organizing problem-based learning activities and using multimedia on sequences and series after learning with a 70% criterion, and 2) evaluate the satisfaction of grade 11 students toward problem-based learning and multimedia. The sample consisted of 31 grade 11 students in Thakhantho Wittayakarn school, Thakhantho district, Kalasin province. The group was selected through cluster random sampling during the second semester of the 2021 academic year. The One-Group posttest-only design was used for this study. The research instruments used in the study included 1) ten lesson plans on mathematics based on problem-based learning activities management and multimedia on sequences and series; 2) a 4-choice objective learning achievement test on sequences and series, totaling 30 items; and 3) an opinion assessment form. The statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation, percentage, and hypothesis testing by One Sample t-test.The findings show that 1) after using problem-based learning and multimedia, grade 11 students' mathematical learning achievement on sequences and series was statistically higher than the required 70%; and 2) evaluating students' satisfaction through organizing problem-based learning activities and using multimedia. Overall, it's at its highest level. |
