Abstract The purposes of this research were to study and compare the level of formative leadership of school administrators under the Bangkok primary educational service area, Region 2, classified by education level, work experience, and size of school. The sample used in the research included 305 teachers. The instrument used to collect the data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire with discrimination between 0.80 and 1.00 and a reliability of 0.99. The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way analysis of variance, and Scheffe's comparison test. The research findings were as follows: (i) The levels of formative leadership of school administrators under the Bangkok primary educational service area, Region 2, were at a high level for both the overall and individual aspects. (ii) The overall opinion of all aspects and the opinion for each aspect among the teachers with different levels of education and work experiences and from different school sizes were found to be significantly different at the level of 0.05.
