| Description | This study aimed to study the influence of meteorological characteristics towards temporal variation of SO2 in Maptaphut industrial area. The ENSO was selected to represent La Niña, normal and El Niño periods. Performances of the AERMOD model predicted SO2 under the simulation with observed and prognostic meteorological data were also compared. Results indicated that there were no differences between predicted SO2 concentrations from using of prognostic and actual meteorological simulations. It was found that hourly SO2 concentrations were influenced by wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, and temperature. Kruskal-Wallis, it was found that ENSO influences SO2 concentrations were statistically significantly different. |
