Abstract | The purpose of this research is to compare the mean scores of etiquette and analytical thinking in Islamic principles before and after experiments managed in the classroom, flipped-classroom with e-comic books, role plays and reflective thinking promoting analytical thinking and etiquette in Islam. It also aims to compare reflection learning methods between experimental and control groups. The sample consisted of two classes of first year (Mutawasitah) religious students, with 30 students in each class, chosen by purposive sampling. The research instruments include learning plans, E-Comic Books of Etiquette in Islam, a learning website and an analytical thinking test on etiquette subjects in Islam. The statistical tools used for data analysis are arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results of this research study include: 1). There were skill differences found between the control group and experimental group, which was taught reflecting thinking in a flipped classroom with e-comic books and the upholding Islamic analytical thinking and etiquette. 2). There was a significant difference in scores of the Islamic etiquette and analytical thinking test after implementing the learning plan, flipped classroom programs with e-comic books and the role plays. The results show that the experimental group’s score was significantly higher than that of the control group at the .05 level. |
