Abstract | The purpose of this survey research is to perform a needs assessment of school academic administration based on the concept of self-knowledge creation based on a conceptual framework of 1) academic administration, and 2) characteristics of self-knowledge creation. The informants were 134 individuals at Potisarnpittayakorn School.The research instrument used in this study was a rating scaled questionnaire. All items had a content validity index ? 0.66. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation and PNImodified.The results showed that the overall present state and desirable state of the academic administration based on the concept of self-knowledge creation were at a high level (M = 3.84) and the highest level (M = 4.63), respectively. The overall priority was 0.206 (PNImodified = 0.206). The first priority was the development of the school - curriculum (PNImodified = 0.214). The second priority was the measurement and evaluation (PNImodified = 0.198). The third priority was learning management (PNImodified = 0.206). The school can use these findings to establish guidelines and plans for the development of academic approaches based on the concept of self-knowledge suitable for students. |
