Abstract This research aims to study the participatory management of schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, the effectiveness of early childhood education management in these schools, the impact of participatory management on the effectiveness of early childhood education, and approaches to developing participatory management that enhances early childhood education effectiveness. The sample group consists of school administrators and teachers under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 during the academic year 2024, selected using stratified random sampling, with a total of 293 participants. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and content analysis. The research findings are as follows:1. The overall participatory management under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 is rated high. When examining the individual aspects, the highest-rated aspect is responsibility independence in work, followed by joint goal setting, commitment, and mutual trust.2. The overall effectiveness of early childhood education management in schools under the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 is rated high. The highest-rated aspect is teacher satisfaction, followed by early childhood development, and the lowest-rated aspect is the school’s learning organization.3. The analysis of the relationship between participatory management and the effectiveness of early childhood education management shows a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.824, with the square of the correlation coefficient equal to 0.678. The combined predictor variables explain 82.4% of the variance in the effectiveness of early childhood education management, with a standard error of prediction of 0.28164. This indicates a significant positive correlation at the 0.01 level, particularly in the areas of mutual trust (X4) and joint goal setting (X1), which both positively influence the outcome.4. The development of participatory management should focus on fostering a culture of shared learning within the community by providing opportunities for community members to learn from each other's experiences. Organizing activities that promote hands-on learning and the exchange of ideas will enhance the effectiveness of participation. Moreover, school administrators should emphasize building strong, transparent relationships with community members, such as through communication and offering opportunities for the community to provide input on educational management matters in the school.
