| Abstract | This research aims to explore and analyze the issues and behavior related to alcohol consumption among youths in Nong Khai Province using a quantitative research approach. The sample group consisted of 234 youths aged between 13 and 20 years, selected through a quota sampling method. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency distribution, percentages, mean, and standard deviation.Research FindingsThe study results indicate that youths have a high level of awareness regarding the impacts of alcohol consumption. When considered by individual aspects, the average scores are ranked as follows: 1.Health impact – Mean score: 4.14 2.Family impact – Mean score: 4.13 3.Economic impact – Mean score: 4.09 4.Social impact – Mean score: 4.04 5.Religious teachings impact – Mean score: 4.04These findings suggest that youths are highly aware of the consequences of alcohol consumption, particularly in terms of health and family-related impacts, which were rated the highest. Meanwhile, the awareness of social and religious impacts was at a similar level. |
