Abstract | A social movement is a collective action with a purpose. or affect society in a creative way an issue that should be addressed in social movements is the advocacy group. not aiming for the benefit of a particular group, as I understand, the participants may or may not have the aim of changing society from the beginning but as the movement grew stronger expand or be sustainable It could change the value system, institutions, and power relations between different social groups. or between the state and the people In studying social movements, it is necessary to bring back the analysis of counter movements. Because almost every government has a powerful retaliation movement, society through the media also has a retaliation movement, such as anti-hill tribe discourse, anti-slum discourse. In this regard, Latin American literature has a more in-depth analysis. From what I've analyzed, it's a matter of concept. The theory that is macro (macro) is looking at the overall structural system as a criterion. Research at the micro level, i.e. based on the experience of actual micro movements, is best able to shed light and new ideas on social movements in Thailand. which is important to lead to consistent theoretical thinking This is because, as mentioned from the beginning, “The content of a social movement theory must be derived from the story of a social movement.” Studying theories and experiences from other countries only helps us to raise the right questions. |
