Abstract This article presents the role of small entrepreneurs in promoting community-based tourism, which is essential for creating economic opportunities and preserving local culture. Small entrepreneurs contribute to the development of products and services that reflect the community's uniqueness, such as organizing cultural tours and offering local cuisine, which attract tourists and generate income for the community. Additionally, their business activities promote job creation within the community and help conserve culture and the environment through sustainable and responsible practices regarding natural resources. Small entrepreneurs also serve as intermediaries in building relationships between tourists and the community by organizing activities that provide tourists with authentic experiences of the community's way of life. This study emphasizes the importance of small entrepreneurs in developing tourism that benefits both the local economy and the preservation of local culture.
