Abstract | This research aims to study the factors influencing the future career decision-making of students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Public Administration Department, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom. This is a quantitative research study. The population in this study consists of students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Public Administration Department, at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Nakhon Pathom. The sample size, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, was determined to be 57 participants. Simple random sampling was employed, and data was collected via Google Forms. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings revealed that the factors influencing the career decision-making of students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Public Administration Department, were generally at a high level, with an average mean score of 3.92 When considering individual aspects, the highest mean score was for salary and compensation, with a mean of 4.17 This was followed by job-related factors and personal suitability for the career, both with a mean of 4.07 Interest and professional aptitude had a mean of 4.02 Organization and employer-related factors had a mean of 3.79 Social values concerning work had a mean of 3.75, while desired job type had a mean of 3.73 The factor with the lowest mean score was influence from family and society, with a mean of 3.73 |
