Abstract | The research aimed to study comparison of personal factors with people's attitudes towards implementing Don't Drink and Drive policy in Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province , to analyze the relationship between mass media factor and people's attitudestowards implementing Don't Drink and Drive policy in Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and to propose guidelines for enhancing people's attitudes towards implementing Don't Drink and Drive policy in the Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The research utilized quantitative research method and employed questionnaire to collect data from samples, 385 people of Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province, selected by accidental selection method. The statistical technique utilized in the study were One-way ANOVA and Pearson's Moment Product Correlation. The results of the study found that personal factors, sex and age, were not related to people's attitudes towards the implementation of Don't Drink and Drive policy in Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province at the statistical significance level of 0.05 which did not satisfy the hypothesis. Personal factors,level of education and average monthly income, were related to people's attitudes towards the implementation of Don't Drink and Drive policyin Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province at the statistical significance level of 0.05 which satisfied the hypothesis. Finally, mass media factor was positively related to the attitudes towards the implementation of Don't Drink and Drive policy in Muang district Nakhon Ratchasima Province which Pearson's Moment Product Correlation was .33 at the statistical significance level of 0.05 that satisfied the hypothesis. Recommendations from the research were that the campaign under Don't Drink and Drive policy should implement continuously, and the law should strictly enforce. |
