| Abstract | Smart city development is an area of local communities and cities managed by the application of technological tools to increase the efficiency of government operations, reduce operational procedures, and provide public services. It is fast, reduces costs, saves energy, makes effective use of limited resources, and maximizes the benefits to the people. This is to make the people in the local community and the city comfortable and to improve the quality of life of the people in the area in every aspect. Therefore, the municipality's role in developing a smart city, Smart City, can be performed under the authority to do or should be done according to the established law, which aims to improve the quality of life of the people in their area effectively and appropriately with the local context or according to the readiness of human resources, budget, local context, and local wisdom to A city that takes advantage of technology and innovation. Therefore, the innovation for local development towards a smart city to improve the quality of life of people in the municipal service area in the lower northeastern region; (1) Intelligent public health services, (2) Infrastructure development transportation Intelligent public utility system, (3) Disaster alert system, (4) Community economic recovery to international standards, (5) Education services for all ages, (6) Life and property safety enhancement, (7) Energy conservation drive and Intelligent environment, (8) Smart state aspect. |
