Abstract The purposes were to study: the professional learning community level, the factors affecting the professional learning community in Mahasarakham University Demonstration Schoolท(secondary) and the guidelines for developing a professional learning community in Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (secondary). Methodology was the mixed methods research that collecting data in quantitative methods and qualitative methods.The sample group consisted of 70 teachers in Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (secondary) and 10 key informants. The research instruments were a questionnaire and asemi-structured interview. The data were analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, multiple regression by stepwise, and content analysis. The results of this study were 1) the professional learning community level in Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (secondary) was at the high level. 2) all of factors that consist of: the organizational structure and the leadership could predict the professional learning community in Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (secondary) on the percentage of 75.4 at thestatistical significance .01. Regression equations for raw scores and standardized scores are as follows: Equation of raw score Y = 1.322 + .509 (x3) + 0.221 (x1) Equation of standard score : Z = 0.725 (x3) + 0. 225 (x1). and 3)The guidelines for developing a professional learning community in Mahasarakham University Demonstration School (secondary) that consist of: there were clearly leadership management policy, and the teachers’ understanding in professional learning community.
