| Abstract | Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people around the world were constrained to work from home. The unexpected shift to an online structure was challenging, especially for those lacking a proper setting to work effectively from home. After two years into the pandemic, this study seeks to assess the effects of a work from home setup on employees involved in the business process outsourcing industry in the National Capital Region in the Philippines. More specifically, it looks at the factors that shape their productivity and determine their work predilections after the pandemic. The study employed a survey questionnaire to gather data on 75 workers who had been working from home. A descriptive analysis was conducted to analyze the data. It was found that most of the respondents prefer working from home as it enables them to achieve a healthy work-life balance and provides a good working environment. The results also indicate that the level of productivity, job commitment, and job engagement parallels that observed when working at their office. A majority of them would like to continue working from home even in the post-pandemic era. |
