Abstract | The research aims to develop an e-book on e-book platform services for the dissemination of local wisdom regarding Sroi Dokh Mak Thai silk weaving and to investigate user satisfactions with the e-book on the platform. The research was conducted by using the ADDIE Model as a development framework including 1) Analysis stage, using qualitative research method, collecting data on Sroi Dokh Mak Thai silk weaving through document research and in-depth interviews with 7 key informants. The research tools used were observation and semi-structured interviews forms; 2) Design stage; 3) Development stage: develop an e-book and check its quality by 3 experts; 4) Application stage: Collect data from 40 MEB application users, and 5) Evaluation stage: Use quantitative research method, as well as to investigate user satisfactions with the e-book on the MEB platform through questionnaires. The findings revealed that: 1) The e-book on Sroi Dokh Mak Thai silk weaving covered 5 knowledge components including background, characteristics, production process, products derived from Sroi Dokh Mak Thai silk, and economic value enhancement; The overall quality of e-book was found to be at a very good level (equation = 4.56, S.D.= 0.64). This consisted of three aspects: content which was at a very good level (equation = 4.66, S.D.= 0.36), design and structure which was at a good level (equation = 4.33, S.D.= 0.35), and technology and multimedia usage which was at a very good level (equation = 4.66, S.D.= 0.45). 2) Regarding user satisfactions, the overall results indicated that users were highly satisfied with the e-book (equation = 4.58, S.D. = 0.40). When analyzing each dimension individually, the highest average was for the advantages of the e-book (equation = 4.67, S.D = 0.35). This was followed by the content aspect, which also registered a mean score at the highest satisfaction level (equation = 4.55, S.D. = 0.49). Finally, the design aspect also received very high satisfaction levels (equation = 4.47, S.D. = 0.36). |
